SI NON SEDES IS (SNSI) is a musical project from Rome, Italy started in late 2006 by Matteo Luciani (drums), Gregorio Luciani (voice), Cristiano Fini (guitar), Matteo Fadighenti (guitar) and Diego Gualino (bass) as a continuation of their previous collaborations dating back to the early 90’s in bands like: CONCRETE, COMRADES, LOS VATICANOS, NOTORIUS and many more…
In the past two years the line up has evolved and we are currently performing with our friend Luca Antonozzi (of MARNERO and SANGUE DISCHI) on drums and Valerio Fisik (of Inferno SciFi grindnroll) on guitar. The sound of the band is influenced by post hc acts of the 90’s such as: INTO ANOTHER, GOD MACHINE, THREADBARE, ENGINE KID, ICEBURN, FAITH NO MORE and is (slightly) reminiscent of bands active today like CONVERGE, ISIS, NEUROSIS, STARKWEATHER, CAVE IN and so on.
So far the band has released two vinyl split 12” with fellow Italian bands MARNERO (on SANGUE DISCHI) and IVS PRIMAE NOCTIS (on TRIPS UND TRAUME). First Full length album “Father of All Lies” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Hombrelobo studios byV Fisik who also produced the record along with the band. Release date is set for October 15th.
